【摘要】:BS7870-2collatesandspecifiesthetestmethodstobeusedfortestingpolymericinsulatedandsheathedelectriccables,ofratedvoltageuptoandincluding19/33kV,intendedforpublicdistributionsystems,andforuseinpowergeneratingplansandsub-stations.ThetestmethodsinthispartofBS7870areadditionaltothosealreadyharmonized,e.g.intheBSEN60332seriesandtheBSEN60811series,andareforusefortestingcabletypesspecifiedinBS7870-3,BS7870-4andBS7870-5.Ineachcase,thesestandardsgivecomplementaryinformationneededforthepracticalapplicationofthetestmethodtoeachspecifictypeofcable.ThereforeBS7870-2-2011,assuch,isnotsufficientforcarringoutandevaluatingthetestsonelectriccables.Fulltestconditions(e.g.temperatures,durations)and/orrequirementstobemetarenotspecifiedinthisstandard.SuchdataneededtocarryoutthetestsisgivenintheparticularsectionsofBS7870.
