【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsestablisharecommendedlistoftestmethodstobeusedfortheidentificationofphysicalpropertycharacteristicsandcomparisonoftheperformancepropertiesofsyntheticturfsystemsorcomponentsforathleticandrecreationaluses,orboth.Thetestproceduresincludedinthesetestmethodsapplyasagrouptothedescriptionofsyntheticturfplayingsurfaces.Someofthetestproceduresarespecificforcomponentsofthesyntheticturfsystem,andothersapplytothecompletesyntheticturfplayingsurface.Someofthetestproceduresaresuitableonlyforthelaboratorycharacterizationofeithercomponentsorthecompletesystem;othersaresuitablefortestsoninstalledsportsfields;andsometestsmaybeappliedinboththelaboratoryandthefield.Referencetothemethodsfortestingthesyntheticturfplayingsurfaceanditscomponentscontainedhereinshouldstatespecificallytheparticulartestortestsdesiredandnotnecessarilyrefertothesetestmethodsasawhole.Thisisaphysicalpropertycharacterizationstandard,anditshallnotbeconstruedasasafetystandard.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
